Shanghai Bright Dairy
Shanghai Bright Dairy & Food Co., Ltd. is China's largest dairy processing and marketing company, and aims to become one of the top 10 in the world. It is part owned by Danone.
We met with Ms. Carrie Cui, general manager for the Bright Cheese & Butter subsidiary of Bright Dairy, and several of her staff. Ms. Cui gave us a presentation about their company and products. Some of their products include individually wrapped sliced cheese in various flavors, including chocolate, strawberry and black pepper; cheese spreads; butter; and whipping cream. All of their cheese is fresh, not aged. Here are some of their products:
One of their interesting products (tasty, too!) is a soft cheese for babies. Also shown is drinkable yogurt (and a teacup for scale).
Here is David Hill of Cabot Creamery explaining about aged Cabot cheeses.
Ms. Cui was production oriented, and interested in the equipment used to make Cabot cheese.

Here is our group outside the Bright office.
